Room for Health Programme Terms
These terms apply to the Room for Health founding intake, starting on Thursday 7 January 2027. They sit alongside your written coaching agreement. If the two ever conflict, the signed coaching agreement applies.

What the programme includes
Room for Health is a twelve-week, online, one-to-one coaching programme. It includes:
- a 60-minute opening session in week 1;
- 45-minute sessions in weeks 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10;
- a 60-minute closing session in week 12;
- a written check-in by email in weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11, sent after you have had time to try that week’s actions.
I reply to each check-in with one considered response within two working days. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Kenyan public holidays.
Sessions take place by video call, usually on Zoom. If we use a different service, it will be named in your coaching agreement. To allow for rescheduling, all sessions should be completed within 14 weeks of your opening session.
What the programme does not include
Room for Health does not include nutrition coaching, meal plans, fitness coaching, exercise prescriptions, diagnosis, medical treatment, therapy or crisis support. See the Coaching Scope for details.
Messaging support is limited to the six written check-ins. WhatsApp, if you choose to use it, is for scheduling only. Neither email nor WhatsApp is an emergency channel.
Fee and payment
The founding fee is KES 24,000 for the complete programme. You can pay:
- in full before your opening session; or
- in three instalments of KES 8,000: the first before your opening session, the second before your week 4 session and the third before your week 8 session.
Payment is by M-Pesa, bank transfer or card through Stripe. Payment details, or a secure Stripe payment link, are sent with your coaching agreement. Never share your M-Pesa PIN, card PIN or banking passwords with anyone, including me. If a card payment is processed in a currency other than Kenya shillings, your card provider may apply its own exchange rate or fees. You will receive an electronic receipt by email within two working days of each payment arriving.
Your fee is fixed for your intake and will not change during your programme.
Confirming your place
Your place is confirmed once we have both accepted the coaching agreement and your first payment has arrived. If the first payment has not arrived three working days before your opening session, I will remind you. If it still has not arrived, I may offer the place to someone else.
Rescheduling a session
If you need to move a session: tell me at least 24 hours before it starts, and we will find a new time, within the same fortnight where possible. If you give less than 24 hours’ notice or miss a session, it counts as held. In a genuine emergency, I will do my best to reschedule anyway.
If you arrive late, the session still ends at the scheduled time.
If I need to move a session: I will give you as much notice as possible and offer a new time. If I miss a session, it will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
Cancelling or stopping
Before your opening session: you can cancel for a full refund of anything you have paid.
After the programme starts: you can stop at any time by emailing me. For fee purposes, the programme is divided into three four-week periods: weeks 1–4, weeks 5–8 and weeks 9–12.
- If you are paying in instalments, no further instalments are due after you stop. Instalments already paid are not refunded.
- If you paid in full, you will be refunded KES 8,000 for each four-week period that has not yet started.
Refunds are made by the method you used to pay, within seven days of your request.
If an instalment is late
If an instalment has not arrived by its due date, I will send a reminder and sessions will pause until it arrives. If it is still unpaid 14 days after the due date, the programme ends and no further fees are owed. Payments already made for periods that have started are not refunded.
If I end the programme
I may pause or end coaching if continuing would be unsafe, outside my scope or unethical, or in the case of serious misconduct. If I end the programme for any reason other than non-payment, I will refund KES 8,000 for each four-week period that has not yet started, and I will suggest other support where appropriate.
Your responsibilities
Coaching works best as a collaboration. You are responsible for attending sessions, choosing what to share, making your own decisions and seeking medical or other professional advice when you need it. For video sessions, please use a reasonably private place and a reliable connection.
Confidentiality
What you share is kept confidential, within the limits set out in the coaching agreement and the Coaching Scope. Sessions are not recorded by either of us without advance written agreement. The Privacy Notice explains how your information is handled.
Feedback and testimonials
As a founding client, I will ask for your honest feedback during and after the programme. It helps me evaluate and improve the pilot.
Testimonials are a separate request. I will only ask after you have completed the programme or stopped. Saying no has no effect on anything, and nothing you say is published without your written permission and your agreement on how you are named.
No guaranteed outcome
Coaching can support clearer thinking and sustainable action. It does not guarantee weight loss, weight maintenance or any other health outcome.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
